Bob Pound, SFP’s eastern U.S. regional account manager, joined SFP with 36 years of sales and agronomy experience. Pound is responsible for sales and product education as well as building relationships with customers, distributors and retail partners in Florida and the Northeast.
Pound joined SFP from Prairie Creek Terminal Services, where he served as vice president of sales and operations. During his career, he’s worked for Wilson Industrial Sales, Cooperative Plus Co-op and Diamond-R Fertilizer Company Inc.
Pound received a degree in agronomy and a minor in agricultural business from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. Additionally, he studied at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburg, Scotland. He grew up on a century dairy farm in upstate New York and previously owned his own fertilizer application business.
